Tracked.bio, is a biotechnology company that develops fully automated phenotyping and identification systems for model organisms. We utilize custom made designs that combine deep learning with computer vision to gather millions of data points every hour, every day for the entire lifespan of an organism. The tracked.bio platform addresses the critical need for methodologies able to reduce cost and effectively evaluate the efficacy of aging intervention

Objective:

The mission of this student position is to assist in developing software to automate the analysis of fruit fly and mouse behaviour.

Primary tasks:

Develop computer vision and machine learning algorithms centered around high-throughput Drosophila melanogaster and murine analysis.

Secondary tasks:

Assist in the development of other computer vision tracking programs

Requirements:

• Eager to learn and maintain organized methodology
• Some experience with coding, specifically in Python

The most important competencies are therefore that you are:

• Curiosity- & deadline-driven
• Speak and write English fluently (Danish is also of interest, but not a requirement
• Highly-motivated and innovative mindset
• Able to collaborate with various specialties
• Ability to work independently, and seek out necessary resources when needed
