(Paid) Business Development Internship - Work directly with our CEO on our international expansion OfficeHub helps companies and their employees find the right office. In this position you will work with the internationalization of a startup, the magical moment when growth is measured in triple digets.

A little about us

OfficeHub helps people find the right office for their business. One could say that we are a commercial real estate broker, but we are not a traditional one. We are a startup that has built a digital solution in an analogue and conservative market. We were well received and enjoyed growth since day one. Recently, we won the Danish Startup Awards for the best startup without external investment, and we are now in the process of conquering market shares in several countries. We are an ambitious team that is on a mission together and we love to crush our targets week after week. We are 10 employees and are located in our beautiful office right at the city center. Your new challenges

As a Business Development intern, you will be part of two very important areas of the company.

Expansion:

You will be part of the expansion team, who are actively working on the international expansion of OfficeHub. We are successful with the first internationalization and now we need to create a strategy for our further expansion. Here you will help with our research tasks. We will teach you how to optimize your own research process, for example by giving you hands on skills in building bots that scan websites for information rather than having to do it all manually. You will be part of creating the expansion strategy. So you will have a lot of responsibility in your role as Business Development intern.

Funding:

You will become part of the research team that builds the foundation for our next funding round. How much does it cost to open a new city, how quickly do we break even, what strategy should we seek funding for? You will work directly with the our CEO in this work.

Your primary tasks are

• Market research - we will teach you hand on skills here, like configuring bots that will do most of the searching for you.
• You will build databases and categorize your findings
• Be part in creating our expansion strategy

Your secondary tasks are

• Research for the pitch-deck and the funding process (eg studies on market growth)
• Various ad hoc tasks in the funding/ expansion process

What's the best thing about the job

You will be working in one of the country's fastest growing companies with a flat hierarchy and a high level of flexibility. The position is paid and you can largely control your working hours depending on your results.

The position is a full-time job, but we obviously understand that you are most likely in the process of taking a higher education and that you need some time when you have to read up for exams. You must not work 80 hours a week for our company. We believe that is a startup myth, that has never made anyone happier at work. In order for you to have a fun work day, you must also have a life next to your work. Therefore, we do not have a fixed number of hours you need to work a week, and no one is looking at you if you need to go home one day to study or be with friends.

We are sure that you want to develop your skills in your field. You will get resources, time and help for that. This is also why the position has to be full-time. We believe that you will have the greatest learning and working experience by being a fully integrated member of the team that others depend on.

The internship will last 6 months and if things go well, we’ll be looking to hire the candidate for a position afterwards.
