GRIM is a start-up working to fight food waste. We do this in two ways: through our B2C GRIM subscription box containing ugly-by-nature organic and surplus fruit and vegetables. We sell our wonky produce also to B2B to food businesses. We've shipped our first box in July 2018 and have so far saved 40 tons of food. We are growing fast and are now looking to hire a full time content & influencer marketing intern. Could it be you?
Are you a critically thinking, food-loving language geek who is fluent in English and has a very good knowledge of Danish? Do you understand the difference between fun and informative communication and are you quick in writing? Are you following the hottest food, sustainability or health influencers and bloggers and know how SoMe works inside out? Then it's your chance to become our new marketing intern!
Join our small and highly ambitious team today. We are working hard to create a new quality understanding of what is edible. How? We are feeding crooked carrots and curvy cucumbers back into our food system - by winning people's hearts and ears with edgy, thought-provoking and funny communication.
And that is exactly your area of responsibility: as our new marketing intern, you will communicate our core story and offering with the market. You'll be creating high quality articles and texts in an edgy tone-of-voice, that is wonky and different - just like our veggies. You will then feed our communication channels with that content and make sure it’s going to get out there to raise our SoMe following through reaching out to relevant influencers.
As main tasks, you will:
- Researching various relevant topics and influencers
- Write trustworthy, high value content that is informative and easy to understand on the topics of sustainability, environmental issues, food (and food systems), health, farmers and veggies
- Share useful knowledge with our customers and followers, while at the same time following our principles of tone-of-voice
- Manage our blog and SoMe and write the weekly newsletter to our customers
- Reach out to influencers and other stakeholders to grow our following and reach
- Help create an ambassador program
The job is for you if ...
- You are proactive and work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment
- You take ownership of your areas of responsibility and bring in creative ideas how to reach our KPIs
- You have experience with and strong interest for communication, SoMe and storytelling
- You share our passion for food and/or sustainability
- You write and speak English fluently. It’s a fat bonus if you speak Danish as well.
- You are a data-driven person who understands the numbers and can make decision based on what strategies work and don't
- You are available for at least 2 months full time. This goes with no exception.
Team GRIM is located in a new food hub in Copenhagen Nordvest, which is shared with other food start ups. We value personality over a strong CV. Please note that this is an unpaid internship position.
