ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be engaged in a 3-year industrial PhD project exploring an affect-oriented approach to designing interactions for improving patient lives.
The aim of the project is to cultivate affective and emotional features when adapting to a life with chronic diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis or other autoimmune diseases. The project seeks to develop new forms of interaction design that use micro-interactional features to support macro-relational changes in people’s lives. The overall focus will be on delivering value by designing affective interactions that explore a number of technological platforms with focus on the RheumaBuddy digital service.
In the PhD fellowship you will collaborate with the IT University of Copenhagen and Daman. You will be partly located at the university and partly at the Daman office in Copenhagen.
YOU & YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
• Have a genuine interest in healthcare and digital health services
• Hold a master’s degree in interaction design or participatory design
• Have attained at least a grade of 10 (Danish scale) for any final thesis/examination project
• Are able to work independently as well as in teams
• Are able to communicate with high proficiency in Danish and English
• Are well-structured in your work

His work centers on a creative thinking of interaction design, experience design and affect theory with an increasing focus on matters within digital healthcare.
