Monthio is a fintech company with the ambition to redefine today’s banking services. We are working to launch an innovative financial assistant, which will enable people to achieve a healthier financial situation. Though we’re a young company, we are already fully funded. We are planning to launch our first services in Denmark in 2019, and we have very promising collaborations. We are now looking for more developers to join our team and take part in our journey.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a newly educated Developer or a candidate with 2+ years of education in a relevant line of studies to work either full-time or part-time. You will join a small team of skilled and passionate people working together to take monthio to the market. The team has a wide age spread and a variety of experiences and backgrounds, each contributing with their individual knowledge and capabilities. Your manager will be Egil Hauge, who is an experienced developer and CTO.

The ideal candidate will have interest in full stack development, and ideally have experience within data-engineering and data-science. The job gives you the opportunity to bring your input to the table and influence the final product, while getting the chance to increase your skill-level. Fintech is a growing industry and therefore a great area to start you career and gain valuable experience. Working in a startup you will have the chance to think creatively, while working to make the right solution in collaboration with the rest of the team.

Our location is in the charming offices of “Sølvsmedjen”, Ragnagade 7, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, Denmark. Here we have a designated room, sharing the collective office space with other startups and small companies. So you will both have the chance to be in a buzzing office, while also having a designated calm area to work – and you can always challenge someone in the team for a game of fussball in the common area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking part in developing monthio’s new product, preparing to bring us to the market and compete with traditional banking
• Work closely with our skilled product team to launch new services and features
• Working with the newest programming technologies, such as .NET Core
• Help integrate complex algorithms and sophisticated machine learning models

REQUIREMENTS

• Recent/soon to be graduate or with 2+ years of education within software, data science, or other relevant background
• Good logical, technological and mathematical skills
• Passion for software development and data science
• Eager to learn new skills and implement algorithms and machine learning

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU HAVE

• Knowledge within startups, consumer products (mobile first type) and/or fintech (financial technology and services) – this is not a requirement, but always a plus
• Danish language capabilities are an advantage
