Monthio is a fintech company with the ambition to redefine today’s banking services. We are working to launch an innovative financial assistant, which will enable people to achieve a healthier financial situation. Though we’re a young company, we are already fully funded. We are planning to launch our first services in Denmark in 2019, and we have very promising collaborations. We are now looking for more developers to join our team and take part in our journey.

JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an experienced Senior Developer with good qualifications and ideally 4+ years of experience. You will join a small team of skilled and passionate people working together to take monthio to the market. The ideal candidate is a creative full stack developer, experienced in building, managing, and running complex platforms and apps as well as algorithms and data-science models. As a startup team we have an array of tasks to be handled, and as a self-driven senior hire you will be able to make your mark in the team.

The monthio team has a wide age spread and a variety of experiences and backgrounds, each contributing with their individual knowledge and capabilities. Your manager will be Egil Hauge, who is an experienced developer and CTO. The job provides you with a good opportunity to bring your input to the table and influence the final product. Working on a fintech product also provides you with valuable experience if you want to strengthen your capabilities towards the financial sector.

Our location is in the charming offices of “Sølvsmedjen”, Ragnagade 7, 2100 Copenhagen Ø, Denmark. Here we have a designated room, sharing the collective office space with other startups and small companies. So you will both have the chance to be in a buzzing office, while also having a designated calm area to work – and you can always challenge someone in the team for a game of fussball in the common area.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and implement APIs, working closely with the mobile team in order to secure a timely and efficient product shipment
• Design and develop new and existing consumer product features, working closely with our skilled product team to launch new features and products
• Work with the team as well as independently to deliver high quality products and features
• If you wish you can also take part in developing our young hires in the tech team

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years professional experience and a self-driven approach
• Experience in or interested in learning to implement AI and machine learning
• Experience working with or have knowledge within the newest programming technologies, such as .NET Core
• Good mathematical and logical skills

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU HAVE

• Taken a consumer product (mobile first type) to market or other relevant experience in developing new digital products and bringing them to market
• Fintech and/or start-up experience
• Danish language capabilities are an advantage
