You will learn how to translate the law into something that a machine (AI) can process. You will work with international clients patents from small inventors to global world-renowned firms. We work with IP Law firms and experts in the patent law, as well as, legal counsels from some of the biggest firms.

Our product, Patentrenewal.com, brings groundbreaking simplification into the management of patent renewals so that costs are controlled, and profits will increase. Modern IP Law firms can now access a lean, one-stop-solution, for renewing patents in any jurisdiction, in all currencies, while being proactive on the transparency requirements of all parties involved.

 

Job Description

The job would mainly be focused on examination and analysis of patent data and identifying whether renewals have been completed or not. If the patent renewal is still not completed, you would need to examine what went wrong and solve that problem in an efficient manner. We would expect that after a training period of approx. 3 months that you would be able to teach and manage people conducting similar tasks.

 

About you

  • Great analytical skills, such as experience with processing data and applying a set of rules in order to verify if there are any inconsistencies within the data
  • Well organised with a sense for patterns 
  • Detail oriented 
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work in an organisation with several interacting departments with varying areas of expertise

 

Qualifications

  • A high proficiency level of the English language is required, additional languages are an advantage 
  • Adept user of the Microsoft Office package, especially Excel 
  • It is not necessary to have an academic education, but it would be an advantage if you have some experience handling legal work, which would enable you to understand the complexity of validation faster 
  • Experience with administrative work would be prefered
