BluSense Diagnostics is an innovative start up in the MedTech business! We work hard to become a global leader within the infectious point-of-care diagnostics. We combine complex scientific areas such as nanotechnology, molecular biology, biochemistry, optics, and hardware and software engineering in developing the next generation of point-of-care testing for infectious mosquito-borne diseases.
We are looking for two Process Operators for our assembly team in our production department, which plays a key role in delivering high-quality products already in demand in the market.
Our main product is a polymer consumable device assembled entirely in house. To ramp up production volumes of these polymer consumables and to strengthen our assembly team, we are looking for Process Operators to work with assembling our products and all the subcomponents.
The job requires previous experience as production technician, process operator or production support ideally in the medical device/pharma field.
Your responsibilities
• Performing in-line process operations during assembly of our product such as assembly, bonding and QC inspections of polymer consumables
• Performing process operations in standing alone stations such as assembly and bonding of intermediate components, labelling and packaging of polymer consumables
• Maintain logs related to production equipment and maintain inventory
• Compile production forms and batch manufacturing records with a high level of details
• Perform stock checking at regular intervals
• Cleaning/maintaining of production areas
• Interact with other team members toward the solution of problems and participate in work groups for continuous improvement
• Maintaining and helping the constant improvement of SOPs in production
Your qualifications
• Process operator or similar technical education background
• 2+ years of industry experience within production/assembly processes in the medical/IVD/ microfluidic consumables or food industry
• Ideally previous experience in chemical or biochemical laboratory
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Windows, Word and Excel
• Familiar with basic laboratory safety, GMP, ISO 13485:2016
