Airtame is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our Infrastructure team. This team is concerned with two focus areas:

  • Internal infrastructure: Developing and maintaining our on-premise infrastructure based on Ganeti where we have (20+) business critical services, e.g. Jenkins, Gerrit, database servers.
  • External infrastructure: Monitoring, automating and scaling Airtame's Cloud (AWS) and website using Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus, and the ELK stack.

As a DevOps Engineer at Airtame you will develop, maintain and scale our internal and cloud services. Our ideal candidate is passionate about automation, empowering software development teams and sharing knowledge to enable the team to grow.

Requirements

  • Experience with virtualization and configuration management.
  • Experience with continuous integration, database administration, and container orchestration.
  • Experience with AWS services.
  • Experience with monitoring and alerting.
  • Open, curious and bold approach to problem-solving and striving for the best solution.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

Bonus points

  • Experience with Python, PostgreSQL, and Docker.
  • Experience with Ganeti and KVM/QEMU.
  • Solid foundation in software security.
  • Experience with log aggregation and analytics tools.
  • Experience with Linux and/or Windows system administration.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Scripting skills.
