We are looking for candidates to fill a senior backend developer position. The position focuses on creating and maintaining backend services that interact with complex databases and multiple third-party APIs. We’re building a hotel portal to compete with the best of them.

We have spent the last two years developing our platform and proving our business model. It is now time to scale and expand globally. You will have a key role in ensuring our ability to extend our platform to the masses.

You will join a small team of backend and frontend developers in a Danish startup. 

Our development environment is laid back. Schedules are flexible within reason. Our office is located in the heart of Copenhagen , so you can clear your head with a midday stroll around the city lakes.

Responsibilities

The majority of your time will be spent on backend development, however, if you have the qualifications and interests there is ample opportunity to place your mark on our frontend or mobile app as well. You’ll help:

• Extend and evolve our backend architecture and functionality
• Turn business requirements into APIs for consumption by frontend clients
• Collaborate to identify manual processes and automate them
• Research, evaluate and integrate external services
• Test and maintain code and systems to ensure a stable runtime environment

It’s not a requirement that you are familiar with our entire stack - you probably have a healthy disregard for the impossible anyway, and will face challenges head on.

You are fluent in PHP and SQL and are well-versed in web technologies in general and the infrastructure that drives them. You have prior experience with multiple API integrations.
