Integrify is a growing tech company with a mission. We teach coding to talented and motivated immigrants and connect them with coding jobs through staffing and consulting. In 2019, over 60 students have started in our programs eager to kick-off their tech career in Finland. The results are impressive. Over 80% of the graduates are working as developers.

In June, we kicked off our first program in Python & Machine Learning with students with a background in software development, data science or mathematics. Now we are looking for an experienced developer to join the team and make the course the best it can be by leading group projects, teaching and in general, making sure the students are ready to start their careers in machine learning after the program.

The course program is pragmatic and there are customer projects around the learning assignments. A 9-month long, open-source curriculum concentrating on machine learning applications around Python was created and designed for the program´s purposes. The curriculum will be further developed during the program and you get to impact the topics and methods around it.

Total of 60 students will go through the program before the end of 2020, so the program is considerable in its scale and influence and is expected to draw attention in the tech sector in Finland.

As the machine learning program specialist, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring of our students through a pragmatic and intensive course which aims to make our students skilled Python and machine learning specialists. The end goal is that our students will be employed in the field at the end of the course.

Your responsibilities:

• Lead the machine learning concentrated Python program.
• Teach Python and its machine learning applications
• Build and manage teams around the program and partnership projects
• Adjust our existing curriculum to correspond to the latest trends in co-operation with an experienced machine learning specialist

What we expect from you:

• At least 2 years of experience working with Python and its machine learning applications
• Excellent command of the English language
• Passion for teaching and eagerness to improve your knowledge of machine learning
• Previous teaching experience is a plus but not a requirement.
