About the job

We are now looking for a developer with the ambition to join our team as Head of Tech / Lead developer. The position starts as soon as we found the right person and will run over a 5-8 month trial period, to see how well we fit together. If the trial period is mutually successful, we want to keep you as a co-founder and make you a shareholder in the company.


In the role as Head of Tech, you have the opportunity to set the direction of our tech stack, build a great team and develop an amazing product. Your tasks will be very varied and will shift from time to time - sometimes being focused on hands-on development and sometimes be focused on strategic technical decisions. 


You will…

  • lead and set the direction for our technical development 
  • be responsible for developing new and improving existing features
  • set the architectural and technical directions, and see them through
  • write efficient Python code, keeping object-oriented programming in mind
  • participate in all areas of product development and really contribute to the future of both the product and the company
  • help maintain and improve code quality, organisation, and automatisation
  • be working from the beach, the couch or the coffee shop - anywhere you like really
  • be working closely with our AI developer
  • contribute to the development of our company culture
  • keep an eye on costs



We need you to be

  • Familiar with Python and its ecosystem, or willing to get familiar
  • Familiar with continuous integration, like Jenkins, or willing to get familiar
  • Familiar with Docker and Kubernetes
  • Familiar using code versioning tools, like Git and SVN
  • Familiar with any of the cloud services, like Azure, AWS and Googe Cloud
  • Experience of developing backend systems and having a 360 perspective of the development
  • Comfortable with basic data management, regarding scraping, storing, cleaning etc.
  • Able to effortlessly explain and describe technical issues and solutions for team members with less technical knowledge
  • Fluent in English, oral and written
  • Familiar with GDPR, or willing to get familiar


It’s a bonus if you are

  • Familiar with basic machine learning algorithms
  • Familiar with NLP related languages, models and libraries, like NLTK, SQUAD and BERT
  • Familiar with remote working

  • Have finished, or about to finish, BS/MS studies in Computer Science, or related
