Responsibilities

Planday is looking for a skilled Frontend developer with strong visual web development experience, for our Copenhagen-based marketing team. You will join an international, skilled and self-driven marketing team that includes six marketers and a designer.

We trust that you understand how your technical solutions contribute to realizing our company vision, and that you have a passion for interacting with many different people to achieve a goal. We are looking for a frontend person who enjoys working in a high paced environment engaging with colleagues to help them be successful, and to build the tools that help them scale Planday even more.

• Maintain and develop our websites (Wordpress)
• Develop new lead generation tools for using in marketing campaigns
• Contribute to solutions that help us scale our marketing efforts to ensure our rapid growing customer base keeps growing
• Creating clean, scalable, concise, robust and maintainable code
• Take part in our objective to deploy every day, automate the hell out of things and learn as we go along

REQUIREMENTS

• 3+ years of experience developing Wordpress
• Fanatically in love with converting top-notch designs into killer web experiences
• You define yourself as a World Class Wordpress Wrestler
• Familiarity with mobile first development and responsive design and know how to bend CSS to your will
• Ability to work with a mix of latest and mature technologies along with HTML5/CSS3
• Familiar with WP Visual Composer
• Familiar with version control systems (Git)
• Familiar with working in separated staging and production environments
• Curiosity towards cutting edge technology, web, cloud or mobile development, programming languages, frameworks, methodologies
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Skilled in landing page development and design
• An eye for user experience and testing outcomes
• Preferably experience with Photoshop, Illustrator and know your way to slice up a PSD.
• An online portfolio of projects is a plus
