Behind Handlebars is looking for a partner/co-founder to be responsible for the business related aspects of the Behind Handlebars brand: business- and product development, sales, marketing etc. Behind Handlebars is a photography project, community and brand followed by +45.000 people from 163 different countries on social media, that motivates others to bike more and share their own life behind handlebars.
As a partner/co-founder in Behind Handlebars, you will be a part of a duo with different areas of primary responsibilities, but working closely together everyday with the original founder.
During the last couple of years, Behind Handlebars has undergone a massive digital growth and established an extensive community of more than 45.000 active followers from all over the world. Behind Handlebars has been a pioneer online in the cycling world, and is particularly renown for the characteristic photo from behind the handlebars of a bike. The massiv global interest in the photos has launched Behind Handlebars as a company and brand, that sells decorative and unique posters of the many pictures, but also apparel/merchandise. The growth has fostered new challenges that requires fresh and innovative eyes to tackle them. Some of the most prevalent challenges being:
In short, your primary area of responsibility will be to take the business side of Behind Handlebars to the next level within sales, marketing, product- and business development, whereas the other founder's area of responsibility will be to further build the community, create written-, photographic-, and video content, and general management of online platforms.
