You’ll be joining our tech team and have a key role in getting new features in the hands of our customers fast. While taking the time to keep the system lean and stable. ChurchDesk is a game changing SaaS that significantly changes the way churches work. (We’d love if you are churchgoer, but you don’t have to be. Most of us are not, and we are not a religious organization.)

(Please note that due to Christmas and our annual company ski trip we will be processing applicants from January 13.)

How you’ll make an impact

Your main goal will be to develop new functionality and maintain our product. You'll be working in tight collaboration with the rest of the team. That includes:

• Implementing the next generation of ChurchDesk features and products for the Web app using HTML, CSS and JavaScript

• Build upon our React Native mobile application using JavaScript and React

• Migrating the front-end to a modern architecture

• Build well-organized, scalable and clean coded systems.

• Learning and utilizing new Web technologies and practices rigorously

• Share your knowledge with, and inspire the team

• Getting new features in the hands of our customers fast. While taking the time to keep the system lean and stable and making the calls on when which of those creates most value.

We are working towards a SPA based on React, at the moment built mostly in Angular. We use Github, CircleCI, AWS and the like to make sure we can deploy fast, often and reliable.

We imagine that you

• 1+ years of JavaScript experience.

• Strong understanding and experience with HTML, CSS and dynamic frontend fundamentals.

• Experience with one or more modern JavaScript framework like Angular, Ember, React, React Native or Vue.js would be awesome.

• A passion for learning. You fearlessly dive into new and unfamiliar technologies.

Our backend stack is Node.js and we welcome cross team work.
