A business development intern will help The Pet-agrees increase sales through lead generation, marketing, and other corporate strategies. As a business development intern, your job duties may include identifying and contacting prospective customers or partner companies, promoting the business online and via word-of-mouth, and creating client proposals and contracts. The goal of the internship is to gain valuable work experience and skills to start your career in business development. You are  either still studying or have recently obtained a business or marketing degree. You have excellent interpersonal, organizational, and sales skills, along with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Develop new business, through actively identifying prospective businesses and understanding their business model and needs for specific monetization services.
  • Help build up our lead generation on social media channels
  • Develop working relationships that turn into revenue.
  • Present The Pet-agrees to potential clients through direct communication, face-to-face meetings, networking events, calling and emails.
  • Be part of executing our email campaigns
  • Talking and emailing leads, qualifying them for the sales team
  • Updating and optimizing data between marketing and sales
  • Assist the marketing team with project-related ad-hoc tasks
  • Keeping updated on market trends and issues affecting the payments industry as well as collecting competitor intelligence.
  • Take initiative and strive to make a noticeable contribution to the company.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You are confident, fun, friendly and most importantly business savvy understanding different business models and business needs.
  • Graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business or similar.
  • Ability to have serious conversations around technical subjects.
  • Detail oriented, positive attitude and the ability to prioritize tasks to fit deadlines.
  • Have excellent intercultural competences and experience working in diverse teams.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional and extremely diverse teams to drive results.
  • Written and verbal communication skills in English is highly valued and in Danish would be a huge plus.
