The Hub is a leading Nordic platform for startups providing access to recruitment, funding, and expert advice. We are on a mission to empower startups and founders, help them grow, and eliminate the frictions along their way. Though we’re a young company, we are already serving 1.5M users per year and have expanded to five markets.


We're looking for a digital content writer to be at the forefront of the Hub's public communication channels. This is a unique opportunity to make an impact with the power of creativity. Ideally you have a background in either journalism or SEO content creation. 

Work Culture

We’re looking for a highly independent personality, a self-starter that can work individually and can take ownership of the process proactively without a to-do list. At the same time we’re looking forward to make this position be part of our team. You’ll be working closely with marketing, social, design and business development to fit into the wider strategy.

The position is part time with about 15-20 hours a week. We welcome both students and graduates looking for a part-time job. 

 

Responsibilities

  • Write compelling pieces to attract, educate, convert, and retain visitors and clients including blog posts, landing pages, emails, downloadable content and social posts.
  • Own the process from ideation, research and writing to communication and publishing.
  • Translate blog posts to shorter, easy-to-compel-content for social media, e-mail and other direct user communication channels
  • Keep projects on track, on time and on budget.
  • Collaborate with other departments to create innovative content ideas

 

Requirements

  • Experience writing for a B2B audience - preferably within Tech / Business
  • Fluent in English with a creative and playful wording
  • Solid understanding of SEO best practices, keyword research and a desire to master
  • Ability to conduct market research and turn data into brand language and stories
  • You have experience with inbound and content marketing.
  • You can own and drive content projects from A to Z to make sure that assets are produced and distributed.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Experience with CMS ( HubSpot, Wordpress etc... ) is a great advantage but not a requirement
