Donkey Republic is provides cities with sustainable micro mobility solutions. Our shared bikes are now available in top Danish cities - Copenhagen, Aarhus and Aalborg. We strive to keep a high level of quality on our bike conditions, paving the path to sustainable mobility. You will be in charge of a team of fleet assistants (shepherds) taking care of our bikes in Denmark. You will be keeping an eye on our practices with parking, city relations and help shape internal processes.

Donkey Republic, the global 24/7 self-service bike sharing system is looking for someone enthusiastic about micro-mobility to join its team. The person would preferably live in Copenhagen. You don't need to be fluent in Danish, but some Danish skills are useful. 

Donkey Republic is a Danish bike-sharing service expanding across Europe. We aim to turn the bicycle into the hero of urban mobility and a catalyst for more liveable cities, happier people, and a healthier environment. Furthermore we are adding more types of vehicles to our platform such as e-bikes, e-scooters etc. 

Your main task will be to manage the operations in Denmark, keeping disabled and missing bikes to a minimum, contributing to our new vehicle purchases and product and operations practices. You will also contribute to communications with cities and marketing partners. You will work closely with our HQ (also based in Copenhagen).

Your work will involve keeping the Donkey bikes running in great condition and ensuring the Donkey Republic service is running smoothly and grows in Denmark fulfilling the needs of both riders and cities. Furthermore, you will be managing a small team of fleet service assistants (Donkey “shepherds”). For your team, you will be in charge of coordinating routes, logistics, quality control and providing leadership.

• Have a driver’s license

• Be fluent in English

• Have experience working with small businesses or startups before
• Be a bike enthusiast
• Have a good understanding of bicycles e.g. be able to do general repairs and maintenance of bicycles
• Some Danish skills are a plus
