Risika is a Nordic FinTech start-up who wants to help B2B companies save money by avoiding losses and by automating manual processes. In short, we want to make it easy to run a healthy business. We sell a SaaS product as well as API integrations that help our customers minimise their financial risk. Behind the scenes, we have an advanced engine spinning - it uses traditional and non-traditional data sources together with cutting-edge algorithms to run automated risk assessments.

THE JOB

Do you want to be part of a fast-growing tech startup? - where the ambition is to scale fast and expand all over Europe in the coming years?

We offer a job as Student Assistant in a fast-paced agile start-up environment where new ideas are discussed daily. The job is 15-20 hours a week with a salary around 150-185 kr/hour depending on your previous experience. You will be helping our Chief Data Scientist and work together with a team of developers. Your tasks will be within business intelligence, data processing, data analysis as well as participate in statistical discussions. We primarily work in SQL, Python and R. It’s appreciated if you at least have some practical programming experience from your studies. If you are a self-driven individual we offer you a great opportunity to get responsibilities and the freedom to investigate new concepts and ideas.

WHO ARE YOU?

• Student at cand.scient.oecon., HA(mat.), cand.stat, cand.act. or similar studies
• Urge to apply mathematics and statistics
• Honest, optimistic and positive mindset
• Fundamental drive to learn new things and a strong focus on self-development
• Want to automate yourself to avoid doing the same thing twice
• Team-oriented and collaborative nature
• Previous experience with R or Python

Other "nice-to-have" experience:

• SQL/PostgreSQL
• Git
