We are looking to hire our new Event & Marketing manager that will join us in building a new startup accelerator & innovation program in Copenhagen. The program is supported by leading Danish Corporates partners and will run for the next three years and is one of our largest innovation programs in Rainmaking.

The role:

As the event & marketing responsible, your role is to lead and execute the event and marketing activities of the program, with the objectives of recruiting the most relevant startups and broadly promoting the program itself. During the program there will also be a range of events you will be responsible for conducting. These events will seek to engage the wider ecosystem as well as the partners of the program.

You should have experience from working with events & marketing within the startup ecosystem and preferably also the corporate world. We are looking for someone who understands both startups and corporates and knows how to communicate with different audiences.

Key responsibilities:

• Create and implement digital marketing campaigns, and monitor results based on your marketing strategies, plans, and budgets.
• Plan and execute flawless events through managing all aspects of event coordination including: budgeting, event and program messaging, materials creation, contract negotiation, vendor relations, agenda scheduling, staffing, on-site production, F&B, and logistics.
• Design creative SoMe strategies to grow followers and drive event attendance incl. visual and written content for SoMe and website - updates, blog posts, thought leadership articles, etc.
• Create material in inDesign and/or Sketch - e.g. event posters, banners for SoMe, etc.
• Copywriting for website and ongoing updating when needed in WordPress.
• Own event KPIs and performance tracking.

Qualifications:

• You’re enthusiastic about the international startup ecosystem and eager to be part of it.
• You’re an excellent communicator and know how to adapt messages to different audiences.
• You love managing events
• You’re ambitious, highly motivated and buzzing with energy.
• You have a solid +3 years events and marketing management experience.
• You are extremely organized, a self-starter, detail-oriented, and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
