About bio børsten

bio børsten makes sustainable toothbrushes made from bamboo. Every year more than 3.500.000.000 (yep - that’s billions) plastic toothbrushes are consumed, resulting in approximately 70.000 tonnes of plastic waste. bio børsten is an entirely biodegradable toothbrush that aims to reduce plastic waste and give conscious consumers a sustainable and health-friendly alternative to plastic toothbrushes. bio børsten’s values are sustainability, user-centered design and health-first. The company’s founder, dentist Frederik Hallengren, designed the toothbrush with these core values as guiding principles.

The role

As a marketing intern with bio børsten you will get the opportunity to design the marketing strategy of an entire company (with lots of help and support, of course), and you will become familiar with what it’s like to develop a real-life marketing strategy and the executing on it. Right now our company is growing and we need help with creating a solid marketing strategy both for social media, online paid advertising and in-store promotion, which we hope that you can help us with as part of the bio børsten team.

Your responsibilities

During your internship your core responsibilities will be:

• Creating a marketing strategy
• Managing our social media accounts 
• Identifying opportunities for in-store marketing with our partner stores
• Managing and setting up online marketing campaigns on e.g. Google Ads and Facebook

We don’t have strict requirements on who you need to be or what you have done so far, but we do expect you to:

• Agree with our core values of sustainability, user-centered design, and health
• Have experience with and a clear understanding of core concepts within marketing
• Be open-minded and have a willingness to learn
• Be good at working together with others, and is fundamentally positive and optimistic
• Have good business acumen and a strong work ethic
• Have the drive to succeed in a (sometimes) hectic and demanding environment

Practical info

We are flexible about the form in which you engage and therefore invite you to apply whether you are looking for a full time internship or only have the possibility to work 15-20 hours a week next to study or work.
