What You'll Be Doing

At Zervant, Product Design is a team of product managers, designers and marketeers at the crossroads of customer understanding, business objectives and technological capability. As a Product Manager, you’ll work with your colleagues and external partners to plan, design and deliver constantly improved products to entrepreneurs across Europe. Products that our customers love and recommend to their peers. 

In this role, you’ll be working very closely with one or more development teams, a UI/UX designer, a customer insight manager and a product marketing manager. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Owning the product user experience, sweating the small stuff and pursuing perfection as an advocate of our customers. 
• Identifying user needs, evaluating their importance and technical feasibility, forecasting benefits and understanding constraints set by industry regulation.
• Creating roadmaps, working across the organisation to align priorities and driving execution against set roadmaps.
• Creating product specifications for development, ensuring we clearly communicate the problem, the planned solution and success criteria.
• Being involved at all levels, hands on. You are the first person to draft a concept and the last person to accept delivery, working closely with engineers and designers all the way.

What We Expect

This is a senior role so we expect you to be an energetic self-starter with at least 4 years’ experience in product management in the software industry. Being a growth company, you need to be prepared for a fast-paced environment with a lot of change. Team play, flexibility and a willingness to learn are essential qualities.

We’re after someone with genuine passion for what they do, someone with world-class knowledge of both product management and digital service development. You need to be familiar with all the latest software technology, and have an entrepreneurial mindset. Hands-on experience in software development and/or the financial services industry is a big plus!

In terms of academic background, a master’s degree in software engineering, or equivalent experience, is expected. Given that our working language is English, you’ll need to be fluent in both the spoken and written form (additional European languages are a big plus!).
