You don’t need to have previous experience as a CTO but we expect that you love coding, take pride in your work, and find our wish to “transform mobility as we know it” a goal worth fighting for. In other words we are looking for someone who see an opportunity in growing both their technical and personal skills while making a big impact on the world.

Ideally we prefer that you have experience as a system architect, business architect, solution architect or similar on IT solutions. You have a commercial mindset that will enable you to understand and challenge the further development of the solution. You enjoy taking responsibility. It motivates you to run IT projects and ensure the quality. And you are a good communicator that can communicate complex knowledge to both the development teams and the rest of the partners involved.

Your main objective will be to draw up the architecture of our platform and app with the open platform APIs. We already have 50 test users ready in Helsinki hence the first phase is to build a minimal viable product that enables them to get around Helsinki with our partner services. As of now they are city bikes, bus, train, metro, ferries, two taxi companies, and, at the beginning of 2019, our first shared car service provider.

We will launch Simple Mobility in Helsinki as early as possible in 2019. The development and main office will be in Copenhagen but Helsinki is, for now, the only place where we can get access to an open ticketing platform for public transportation. It is therefore important that you are willing to travel to Helsinki, together with the rest of the team, at least one day every other week for the first year.
