Job description

Iconfinder is adding to our team of passionate people who are revolutionizing the world of icon design and we are looking for a software developer to join our Copenhagen office.

Our stack is primarily based on Python, ElasticSearch, Postgres - all running on Heroku. We prioritize low latency, scalability and fast-paced development of new features. More than anything, we seek engineers with strong coding and algorithms fundamentals, a reputation for excellence, and a love for software development.

Some of the challenges you will be working on are:

• Develop and improve features for our users
• Improve the search engine algorithms
• Develop our e-commerce platform

We care about code quality and performance, tests, and proper documentation. The years of experience or any specific programming language are less important than your approach to development. We focus on building better products for our users and not reinventing the technology wheel.

Requirements

To make things more concrete and nerdy, here are some of the technologies we use and expect you to be familiar with:

• Python (preferably also Django)
• Relational database (preferably PostgreSQL)
• ElasticSearch (nice to have)
• Redis (nice to have)
• Go (nice to have)
