bmetric is a five year old tech-startup located at the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. At bmetric we have built the technology to provide the most efficient channel, with the right message, at the appropriate and opportune moment for visitors on a website. We call it onsite channel management.

At bmetric we are looking for a part-time/student employee (15-20 hours a week) for our development and operations team. Our team is responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring our high traffic platform. They ensure 24/7 availability and that everything runs smoothly, and are constantly working to improve our diverse infrastructure, being open to new ideas and technologies.

It will be your responsibility, together with the team, to:

• Maintain and continuously improve our infrastructure
• Develop our web application with a keen eye on performance and robustness
• Optimize and automate our workflows and mission-critical systems
• Develop innovative solutions for the use, operation and monitoring of the systems
• Collaborate with an international, responsible and agile team

Essential skills:

• Web application development
• Basic Linux systems administration

Desirable skills:

Preferably you are familiar with some of the following technologies and skills, listed in no particular order: 

• Monitoring systems
• Familiarity with the full web stack
• Relational databases and SQL
• Cloud operations
• Resource planning
• Continuous integration and deployment
• Python
• ReactJS
