The position   

We offer a challenging job opportunity to work with cutting-edge bio-assay technology. As a laboratory technician, you will work closely with our scientists on multiple projects.
Main job tasks include performing diagnostic assays, test microfluidic cartridges, test novel production processes, perform routine calibration of instrument and cartridges under the supervision of senior members of BluSense R&D team.

Qualifications

You are a highly skilled and dedicated laboratory technician, who likes challenges and thrives in a busy and dynamic work environment. You can handle multiple tasks at the same time while consistently delivering high-quality results. You can work independently and at the same time be part of a team.
You can follow guidelines from R&D scientists and implement protocols by yourself.   

Specific qualifications and skills:

• Laboratory technician or bio analytics educational background
• Experience with standard biotech laboratory techniques
• Fluency in English both verbal and written
• Solid computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint 
• Strong interest in new technologies 
• Work experience in a team-oriented environment

Skills and Abilities:

• Ability to organize and conduct experiments
• Aptitude to run repetitive protocols while constantly monitoring important details
• Ability to monitor and trouble-shoot technical issues with custom electronic instruments

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Execute day-to-day test of cartridges, final products or prototypes
• Set up, adjust, calibrate, clean, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory and field equipment
• Test production processes
• Perform calibration of production lots of electronic instruments and cartridges
• Maintain accurate lab notes and databases of experimental results
• Optimize experimental procedures and workflows
• Communicate efficiently with the manager, R&D team members, and external collaborators
