Our goal with this internship is to teach you how to think about and integrate data mining in variously complicated scenarios. You will learn about the core elements of web API's, acting as a user and integrating it with an enterprise system. After this internship, you should be able to get data from any website, API or file. You will save thousands of hours of manual data mining our company, your own future company or who knows what in the future. Ultimately becoming a data mining rockstar🤘

We’re looking for interns who want to learn and apply Data Mining. We'll teach you the ins and outs of the trade and why we do apply such a word to a position.

You’ll go through a three-month internship from our office in central Copenhagen.

This is an unpaid internship, however, lunch and drinkables are included. We're looking for both part-time and full-time interns. 

 Your tasks

• Getting patent data from patent office websites
• Mining data from public web API's
• Integrating third web service API's
• Using data sources to automatically notify our legal experts when the law changes
• Integrating data mining services with our back-end or web apps
• Creating small web apps, API's or CLI's to access data.

Requirements:

• Are perfectly fluent in written and verbal English
• Love working hands-on and focus on executing tasks
• More than 1-year of experience with any programming language

Bonus:

• Studying or has a degree in Computer Science or similar area.
• Experience with Python 3.6
• Experience with node.js or ideally Vue.js
• Experience using BeautifulSoap, CURL or python/javascript request libraries.
