What is Upbeater? 

At Upbeater, we represent and connect exceptionally talented and innovative students with projects in need of the students specific skill set. Although we offer help with everything a new project or startup need, we focus on 3 main areas: App & Web development (IT), Business & Marketing, and Visual Communication. 

We currently have a few spots open, and have started our search for the most promising students to fill the spots as our next Upbeaters within software engineering and data science.  

As an Upbeater, you'll get:

• A chance to work on relevant professional projects to gain experience

• A bigger network within your industry
• To be part of a community of the most talented students within their field (share, create and build together) 

How does it work? 

We only accept and represent the most talented students in their filed of study. So to become an Upbeater, you need to meet the following criteria: 

• Your skills in your field stand out a little extra
• You have a natural understanding and passion for the field you're studying, it’s terms, processes and function 
• You are confident with what you can do and can’t wait for the opportunity to show it off
• You take initiative and challenge the traditional
• You are able to add your own touch in addition to your skill set
• You execute & deliver top quality results 
• You're a trustworthy and self-driven doer
• You have done at least 1-2 projects on a professional level before
• You’re probably in your 3-5 year of study within your field
• You’re extremely passionate about what you’ve decided to study and you’ve set your mind on becoming one of the best in your field 
• You recognize great opportunities to grow and get ahead of the game when it’s offered, and strive to become highly attractive on the job market once they’re done with school
• If it wasn’t for school, you’d already have a job in your field

It's also a plus if you are: 

• Interested in international opportunities
• Interest in the startup scene
