Pangea is an investment and competence development platform that connects talented and impact-driven African start-ups with international angel investors and African diaspora investors. We have worked with over 150 African startups and are doing several programs in Kenya and other African countries. We are currently working on an exciting communication project and are looking for marketing interns.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building  our audience across social media platforms
• Create content (startup and investor stories) for social media platforms and media dissemination (i.e. blogs, press releases, Instagram photos & videos, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc)
• Develop & distribute a newsletter. 
• Manage media relations and ensure efficient distribution of created content. 
• Develop an editorial calendar and implement it. 

Requirements: 

• 1-2 years experience working with communication 
• A natural storyteller with creative writing experience
• Graphic design experience, particularly in creating simple infographics and simpler design elements
• Journalism experience or Videography skills are a bonus.
