At Roger, we’re changing B2B payments for good. With a strong product in the market in Denmark and the US, the company is growing rapidly. Our office in Sølvgade in CPH houses 10 Roger team members, all down-to-earth people trying aiming high in everything that we do. We like to hang out for a Friday beer and a board game before the weekend, and we try to get together as a global team every six months. Founders and team members have built and exited several startups in the past.

You will be a part of our strong backend team, playing a huge part in making the platform run as smooth as possible. The role can very slightly depending on your background and your experience, but mainly the tasks will include:

• Daily collaboration with the customer service department, fixing bugs for customers and deploying fixes fast and efficiently 
• New feature development, both core products and external APIs
• Engaging with the developer community and helping developers build on the Roger platform 
• If you have relevant experience, helping build out our global payment infrastructure
• If you have relevant experience, taking a role in our Machine Learning efforts across the product offerings

Your educational background isn’t as important as your ability to keep up in a very high speed work day, juggling among different tasks and being passionate about building great things fast. We value people who can learn fast and share our mindset, but you probably do have 5+ years of experience with backend programming. 

Experience with the following programming languages and technologies are required: 

• C#, .NET
• REST API design
• MySQL/SQL
• Git
• AWS in general

Experience with the following frameworks and technologies are an advantage:

• Aurora
• CI/CD
• JavaScript (React.js)
• DynamoDB
• Startup experience

Danish language skills not required, but work visa for Denmark is a requirement.
