We are looking for an ambitious (PAID) intern 15 hours a week, who will be part of a team of 10-12 colleagues from around the world, and work as part of the production team making sure that our newly signed partners get the best service possible from the start. We will need your help to get all our restaurants up and running, and ensure constant spotless quality for our services

OrderYOYO is transforming the way people order food. We are focused on enabling restaurants to make the most of the modern online ordering culture, by helping them transition their businesses to the online space. Our goal is to ensure that small and medium sized restaurants and chains don’t pay out 12-25% per online order to portals.

Required qualifications:

• 1+ years of software development
• Strong knowledge of C#, Javascript
• Experience using TypeScript, Bootstrap, HTML/CSS
• Strong practical knowledge of OOD, TDD, SOLID, MVC and other design patterns
• Understand Azure Integrated Cloud Services
• Proficiency with writing easy to understand, tested, clean and maintainable code
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD and testing
• Strong attention to detail in every part of the work
• Good team player
• Fluency in English

Desired qualifications:

• Hands-on experience with Azure or other Cloud deployments
• Exposure to .NET Core, ReactJS, SASS/LESS
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps
• Hands-on experience with Git Flow

Typical day

In a morning you grab your coffee/tea and join a stand-up. You explain to your teammates the remaining challenges to the workflow of checkout page. That's a part of the current sprint your team is working on, you helped the product manager to plan it.

You get back to your workplace to sort out code review comments, apply some merges and help with PR of your fellow developer who struggles with a complicated unit test.

On a lunch break you chat with a mobile app developer having questions about new REST endpoint you deployed yesterday. After which you'll enjoy a game of Foosball with your team.

The remainder of the day you spend working on your task. Just before the end of the day you manage to get all unit tests to pass. You make a new pull request to push your feature into CI. Job's done! Time for some Friday drinks.
