As a DevOps engineer at Karma the health of our system will be your number one priority. Is the database as performant as possible? Is the Kubernetes cluster scaling in an optimal fashion? Do we have all the information we need for proper debugging? You probably get what we mean by now. Your mission is to make sure our machine is running smoothly and that each feature and bug fix is deployed in a fast and safe manner, so our users get the benefit of it as soon as possible.

The mission of your role:

Continuously improve the performance of the Karma platform from a server, configuration and database perspective. The Operations Engineer is also responsible for making sure the platform is up and running at all times, and if it's not, making sure we know about it in the shortest possible time.

have previous experience supporting a high load system
are a good communicator (written and verbal)
take pride in and responsibility for, your work
are empathetic for both colleagues and customers
are a curious and quick learner
