Valuer is an emerging leading platform that match-makes startups and corporations. Valuer helps corporations discover, understand and engage with startups that are specifically relevant to their business strategies. We offer an internship or student job (depending on qualifications) that runs for a minimum of 3 months.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Full conversion of our Vue.js PWA to a Nativescript project
- Further development of HTML/CSS/SCSS and Javascript based on wireframes and visual designs, and implementation of commercial and open source web technologies
- Development of dynamic and engaging web functionality using JavaScript and JS frameworks
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Work closely with design team as technology advisor to help guide project scope
- Create re-usable components and code snippets
- Develop animations, navigation, interactivity, etc., using jQuery or other JavaScript libraries
- Thoroughly test your work on multiple browsers and mobile devices
- Demonstrate effective communication with fellow team members and management
- Rapidly prototype ideas in order to learn what works and how to elevate concepts to the next level
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- Experience coding within a Javascript environment
- Familiar with JS tools
- Strong proficiency with HTML5 and CSS. CI (continuous integration) server knowledge is a huge plus
- Responsive design experience
- A firm understanding of on-page SEO best practices
- Social Media and API integration
- Experience testing and debugging work on multiple browsers & screen sizes
- Thrive in a fast-paced working environment, owning deadlines and striving for efficiency
- Working knowledge of design principles, typography, user interfaces, Web standards and usability
- Familiar with interaction design and information architecture methods and principles
