Your day at Kahoot!

As a javascript engineer, you will work on products that affect millions of our users using various technologies including large-scale systems, big data platform, and distributed systems. We are looking for an engineer with ‘full stack’ mentality who is able to move quickly between low-level networking, backend, frontend, and much more. If you're experienced with various technologies, a fast learner and focusing on “get things done”, we'd love to hear from you! 

REQUIREMENTS

We are looking for someone who has: 

• The ability to code responsive designs and layout which work cross-browsers/devices
• Experience in developing WordPress themes from scratch
• Experience creating custom fields, post types, widgets and menus in WP
• Able to create functionality of components and widgets without relying on plugins
• Experience with Javascript, jQuery but ideally able to understand and write in pure JS
• Managing/migrating databases and WP installs
• Good knowledge of PHP and the WordPress functionality

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Knowledge in accessibility issues and able to create WCAG compliant pages+components 
• Experience of WP API
• Es6 Javascript
• JS UI frameworks (react, vue etc)
• Experience using the command line
• Front-end build tools/workflow such as gulp, webkit, docker
• Experience using WPEng
