We’re seeking a creative and passionate UX Designer to help create a user friendly and consistent design across our platform.

About Legal Desk

Legal Desk is a digital platform, where we create novell solutions that allow both consumers and businesses to easily handle legal issues online. A large part of our services today is automatically generated legal documents where we rely on user input via forms, open data from the government and we have begun looking into natural language processing and machine learning to interpret relevant documents.

Your responsibilities

Our two backend developers are working continuously on new features for the website. In this context we are looking for someone with great insight and knowledge as to how design affects the user journey, both regarding the overall website and the specific features. In addition to this, we also need someone with graphical skills for various assignments ad hoc.

Your new coworkers

We began our legal-tech adventure back in 2014 in a basement in Vesterbro. Ever since the business has been experiencing rapid growth and the team now includes nine members; three lawyers, two communication officers, a business developer, a customer officer and two backend developers. What we all have in common is a nerdy obsession with each of our fields, and the love for building new stuff and watching it grow.

Everyday we have lunch together in our kitchen - and beer on Fridays. This spring we all went to Spain for five days. During the day we developed new products, during night we had tapas and beers. We hope you’ll join our team!

Your profile

Overall we’re looking for a problem-solving kind of person, who is passionate about the creative process, loves working both in teams and autonomously, and has the courage to challenge the way we think.

Need-to-have qualifications:

Professional UX design experience for software or web applications. You have a proven track record and a portfolio that showcases your previous projects.

• Experience working with customer insights and testing

• Production of concepts and design in form of wireframes (or similar deliverables)

• Proficiency in Sketch, Photoshop, Illustrator or other design tools

• Working with cross-disciplinary teams and digital products

• Working proficiency (written and spoken) in English

Nice-to-have qualifications:

• Acquainted with agile methodology

• Various frontend development syntax such as HTML, CSS/Sass and React
