We all depend on farming to get food on the table, and yet farming has been widely ignored by the tech community - leaving farmers stuck in the last century. FarmBackup is put into the world to change that. We are building a farm management system that is already putting smiles on the faces of farmers all around the world - and we have only just begun. We are fully funded and on a mission to change an entire industry.

The ideal candidate is a strong programmer who is motivated to work with our current tech stack based on Elixir/Phoenix and Postgres.

We are interested both in candidates that are senior developers with a proven track record, but also less experienced developers with talent and initiative.

We cooperate closely with our friends from Shape A/S (www.shape.dk) and share knowledge, office space, lunch, and Friday beers with their pool of 40 highly talented developers.

Requirements:

• Experience with Elixir/Phoenix, Ruby on Rails (or maybe similar languages and frameworks).
• A strong interest in system architecture
• A disciplined approach to development, testing and code structure.
• You’ve been writing web applications for a while and can point to things you’re proud of.
• You contribute with feedback from a backend perspective in the discussions around new features.

Great-to-have:

• Experience with frontend development and e.g. React or React Native.
• Experience with AWS services and devops.
• Academic background in computer science or similar.
• Experience driving a tractor.
