Digital Marketing Internship

Salary Competitive

Hedia is a personal diabetes assistant, based on artificial intelligence. It picks up patterns and habits of the individual diabetic and uses it for insulin recommendations giving the person with diabetes a better insulin-treatment. We help our users to live an easier life with diabetes. Everybody in the team has a high sense of personal commitment – we basically just want to help as many as possible! Come and join us.

Who You Are

We imagine that you’re currently studying communication, marketing, tech, media, concept, data or something that we don’t even know is out there. You’re not necessarily an expert, but you’re interested in diabetes and our mission to make the chronic disease easier to manage. We want you to challenge the norm while working under regulatory restrains, and hopefully you know a lot about the current digital trends (and want to implement them).

What We Want

We’re looking for someone to join our marketing team for minimum three months in Copenhagen.

We’d like help with:

  • Social Media
  • Video production
  • Graphic Design
  • Copywriting
  • PR
  • Trends and tendencies
  • UX
  • User Journeys
  • Communication
  • Etc.

We don’t expect you to be an expert on all of the above – but tell us your strengths and in which areas you’d like to grow and we’ll tailor your internship to your and our needs.

It’s a bonus if you’re familiar with SEO, WordPress, Lead Generation, MailChimp, Data Analysis, SaMD, diabetes and/or the MedTech industry. We’ll teach you the basics, but if you already have an idea of the concepts, we can start at a higher level (and educate you even better).

What You Get

We know we want a lot from you, but we’re willing to give back. If you prove yourself super talented, you can look forward to an internship where you’ll get a lot of supervised responsibility. We’ll teach you a few things intensely or the basics of all:

  • Marketing Strategy
  • App Marketing
  • Email Marketing
  • Data, Analysis & Machine Learning
  • Digital Design
  • Behavioural Design
  • [You can basically copy/paste our list of what we’d like your help with]
  • and of course diabetes.

You’ll become part of a small team where the process from idea to actualisation is short. You’ll get a bunch of influence and you get to finish and implement your ideas and grow not just your portfolio, but also your toolbox and network. Although Hedia is mostly regulatory folks and developers, ⅓ of us has marketing agency backgrounds – we have things to teach.

Who We Are

We are a small team of fewer than 10 people based in Copenhagen. Our pilot diabetes application is already live for iOS but within the next year, we’ll be adding a bunch of features and flows (this is where you might come in).

What We Expect

We’re a bunch of driven people and we’d like to see a certain amount of drive from you too. Otherwise, the boring details include someone who:

  • can work independently
  • is willing to learn and put their (new) skills into play
  • is able to work full time for at least 3-6 months in Copenhagen
  • wants to make a difference for people with diabetes
  • will send us their application ASAP and no later than July 16.

How to Apply

Send us your resume telling us what you’re good at and what you want to be better at. You know what you’re learning atm and what your skills are – tell us! Apply through the Hub. And if you have any questions, send us an email to job@hedia.dk.
