Your mission

To take a leading role in the Platform team, solidifying a devops culture and ensuring developer success across the whole development process. Continuously looking for improvements in performance, scalability and redundancy.

Your outcomes

Short term, your expected outcomes would be:

Make sure Karma successfully makes the transition to a new cloud provider by the end of 2018.
Set up visualisation and monitoring of all systems.
Update our basic toolchain to support continuous integration, continuous deployment and automated testing.
Make sure all endpoints in the main consumer facing APIs adhere to our maximum latency policy.

Long term, you would:

Educate and guide the team to having a "You build it, you run it" mentality.
Engage in recruiting and potentially taking the team lead role for the Platform team.
Plan for and lead the execution in scaling Karma to a global level by the end of 2020.
Pour your own principles for teamwork and quality into the Karma melting pot, making yourself a lasting part of a great workplace.
