Sharetribe is building a better sharing economy by making platform technology accessible to everyone. Our software and online resources make it easy and affordable for aspiring entrepreneurs and organisations to build their own sharing economy platforms, such as a website like Airbnb or an app a bit like Uber. We're now looking for new talent to join our marketing team.
You will work as part of our team, with a focus on growing and converting our inbound traffic and expanding Sharetribe’s position as a thought leader in the online marketplaces industry.
Most of your time will go into the production and promotion of all kinds of content, optimizing the existing marketing channels and finding new ones. Our brand is the sum of every single touchpoint a customer has with us during our journey. You produce high quality, well-researched content that provides real value to visitors. You will write a lot, from long form to social media to microcopy, and have an innate ability of finding the right tone and messaging for each occasion.
You will also monitor our entire marketing funnel to identify growth opportunities and act on them.
Your decisions and actions are based on data. You dive deep into analytics and gather actionable conclusions. You run projects and marketing initiatives as experiments, with a clear hypothesis and expectations, and are able to turn even disappointing results into an opportunity for learning.
You are tech-savvy and ideally have some rudimentary coding skills that allow you to read, write and troubleshoot basic HTML, CSS, and Javascript snippets.
You are curious and always pushing us to improve. The world moves fast. What works now might not work in six months. You are always eager to learn and develop our marketing skill set. You regularly step out of your comfort zone and argue your case.
We can count on you. You are an all-round marketer who is able to switch between thinking strategically and doing the dirty work without losing sight of the end goal. You take responsibility of entire projects and put out work that reflects the quality of our brand.
You are proficient in both written and spoken English. English is our official language, and all our content is in English. Knowing Finnish is not a requirement.
