Join us changing the way the world does research! Data management is the bottleneck in research and development, and we are giving researchers what they badly need: an intelligent notebook, where they can store, organize, explore and share all of their research. At the moment, we are testing our first version in private beta.

As our lead designer, you will be in charge of the visual identity of the company and the product. You will work closely with some of our pilot customers: smart researchers doing exciting work in many different fields; from sociology to quantum physics. You will also be deeply involved in amie's next features; from conceptualization, user testing to implementation. It is all software for now and maybe hardware in the future.

What we need from you:

• Design skills for web, UI/UX, and branding
• Some professional experience, we need to see something you have done before, ideally not for school. 
• Proficiency in a standard web design tool like Sketch, Figma or similar.
• Experience with user testing

Would be great if you had:

• Experience with HTML/CSS/Javascript. 
• Experience with interaction design
• Experience in data visualisation, e.g. you have designed a plot or a dashboard before
