The role

Airtame is seeking a talented DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. This team is primarily concerned with two focus areas:

  • External infrastructure: Monitoring, automating and scaling Airtame's Cloud (AWS) and website using Terraform, Ansible, Docker, Prometheus and the ELK stack.
  • Internal infrastructure: Developing further the internal systems, including user management (LDAP), continuous integration (Jenkins) and code review tools (Gerrit) with Puppet, Ganeti.

As a DevOps Engineer at Airtame you’re well versed in modern infrastructure and operations technologies and select tools based on what is best for the team, product, and organization.

Requirements

  • Ability to assess new technologies and make pragmatic choices that help guide us towards a long-term vision.
  • Open, curious, and bold approach to problem-solving and striving for the best solution.
  • Strong scripting skills (Golang/Python, Bash/Powershell)
  • Experience with virtualization, cloud-based infrastructure, configuration management, continuous integration, database administration and monitoring and alerting.
  • Understanding of networking and security.
  • Excellent English communication skills.

  • Strong background in Linux system administration
  • Experience with container orchestration
  • Experience with Windows system administration
  • Contributions to open-source projects
