Alpha World is a platform for buying and playing computer games. Unlike competitors like Steam, Alpha World will be built as an MMO style game. The idea is to create a more immersive and fun gaming experience across games and genres. Concept validation is underway and the next step is to create a prototype.

The success of Alpha World is highly dependent on our ability to build a community of gamers early on. This community is vital when it comes to beta testing, feedback and when we will run a crowdfunding campaign. That is why we are looking for you.

We are open for candidates with odd backgrounds who can shed new light on the community building process. However, we guess that you can check off some of the following boxes:

• An education focused on online marketing
• A bit of experience with building a community on Facebook, Discord or similar
• Experience with building a mailing list
• A genuine interest in the video games industry
• Organized and great at documenting your work

In turn, you will gain experience with:

• Working in a small startup (it is a lot of fun)
• The rapidly growing and evolving gaming industry
• B2C marketing aimed at a market with hundreds of millions of customers
• Viral growth theory and its relation to product development and marketing
• Targeted marketing towards narrow demographic groups
