Alpha World is a platform for buying and playing computer games. Unlike competitors like Steam, Alpha World will be built as an MMO style game. The idea is to create a more immersive and fun gaming experience across games and genres. Concept validation is underway and the next step is to create a prototype.

The team consists of a founder (business) and a concept art intern. The founder has prior tech startup founding and growth experience, plus a passion for gaming. The company is currently located at an incubator in central Copenhagen with access to a pretty cool office space and a kick-ass lunch.

As the concept has been early stage validated we are now looking for a game programmer to build a prototype of Alpha World. We will mainly work with assets from Unity's asset store to cut development time early on. The focus will be on building a simple 3D game world containing 2-3 games to download and play. We will use the prototype to test various assumptions regarding user preferences and behavior.

You have a couple of years of game programming experience where you ideally have gained knowledge of the following:

• Unity and C#
• Character controllers
• Multiplayer gaming
• Managing a small team

Salary and equity:

• You will get a handsome equity share of the company (vested)
• You can get by without a salary for 4-6 months (you are welcome to take a part-time job on the side)

The first 2 months will be a test period, where we figure out whether or not we work well together. If we decide to continue after this period, we will sign a cofounder agreement.
