Job opening:
Product Designer

We’re a small SaaS startup based in the heart of the Copenhagen startup scene. We help more than 200.000 users world-wide keep a Mileage Logbook. We try to automate and simplify all the trivial work around tracking, classifying and creating the mileage documentation - ready to hand-over to their employer.

We’re very product-focused with a profound focus on continuously listening to and learning from our users. We are always trying to improve the product to create an even better and more seamless experience for our users - and we expect you to share this focus.

We are looking to expand our team with 3-6 people over the next year, so you’ll be an essential part of a small team at a very exciting stage.

Who are you?

You love making simple, beautiful and intuitive user interfaces and have a user-centered approach to design; caring deeply about understanding the customer needs and behaviors, to help them achieve their goals as easy, confident and enjoyable as possible.

You’ll be in charge of our mobile & web product design and responsible for all our visual presence.

Your responsibilities:

  • Designing simple and intuitive interfaces and customer journeys for both our mobile and web app.
  • Customer research and usability tests etc. to get a deep understanding of our customer needs and struggles.
  • Create digital marketing graphics, pages and emails with focus on activation and conversion and help improve all communication, e.g. with illustrations, to make our users experience more personal and friendly.
  • Working with the rest of the team to drive customer engagement and retention, by continuously running experiments to improve the customer journey.

You must:

  • Have 5+ years experience with mobile and web design and a portfolio to back it up.
  • Aspire an evidence- and data-based approach to your work, making sure to keep the user in focus through continuously validation and testing.
  • Be comfortable in working with Sketch to create pixel-perfect designs ready to hand over to the developers.
  • Be able to take ownership in the process of building a feature from concept to release, working closely with the rest of the team to ensure a high-quality implementation.
  • Be motivated to join a young, dedicated and hard-working team.

It would be nice if you:

  • Have experience in user testing, researching customer needs, analytics, running experiments and doing conversion optimizations.
  • Are interested in lean ux principles, growth hacking, behavioral economics, the jobs-to-be-done theory or the like.
  • Can code a bit (HTML/CSS, JS, Ruby).

What do we offer?

We have a relaxed work environment with a flat hierarchy, flexible work hours and strongly believe that it should be fun to go to work. We’re located in the heart of Copenhagen, in Matrikel1, the most ambitious co-working space for tech startups in Denmark, where you can network with other startups and plenty of cool like-minded people.
