Your.Rentals is looking for an Online Sales Rep to be responsible for onboarding and activating new users for our unique software for vacation rental managers. 

As an Online Sales Rep, your role is to engage with prospects and customers, helping them understand the value of Your.Rentals, and moving them forward in the onboarding and activation process. As their first point of contact with Your.Rentals, you play a key role in building our brand, creating a great first impression, and building trust. We’re in the early days of building our sales organization, meaning that joining our team can lead to exciting opportunities.

What will I be doing?

As Online Sales Rep, you will use online tools such as intercom.io, Google hangouts and other web-based conferencing services to introduce Your.Rentals to potential users, and help users during the account activation process. Your goal will be to ensure the successful sign-up and account activation of prospects for whom Your.Rentals can help in their daily work.

  • Providing a great experience for Your.Rentals’ prospective users
  • Engaging with potential and current users to assess mutual fit
  • Qualifying leads and new users to establish our opportunity pipeline
  • Assisting prospects with pre-signup questions and ensuring Your.Rentals’ can address their needs
  • Assisting new users with the account activation process (ie. using our software to build listings for their accommodation)
  • Working closely with our customer support and technical team to solve issues with users
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of our product and its value to users
  • Working with other parts of our company to improve business processes
  • Engaging in team development and mentoring

 

Skills and experience

We’re looking for a positive self-starter, with some previous sales experience and a lot of ambition. 

What you’ll definitely need to bring:

  • 1-3 years of work experience in Sales
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English
  • Exceptional listening skills combined with the ability to synthesize information
  • Strong organization and time management
  • Intellectual curiosity and problem solving
  • Collaborative and coachable
  • Highly motivated and self-driven
  • Goal driven attitude

Nice to have experience: 

  • Fluency in Spanish, French or Italian
  • SaaS or other software sales experience
  • Team leadership or coaching in a customer support or sales environment
  • Use of a live chat software, CRM software or case based customer support software
