Visual Content Producer - STUDENT INTERNS ONLY

Looking for entrepreneurial students that need internships for course credit to step in and get involved in our media and content production team. 

 GENERAL SUMMARY: 

The Visual Content Producer is responsible for planning, creating, testing and managing the publishing of effective, and consumer relevant, brand visual content (photography, images, video) across key Digital and Social platforms. The Visual Content Producer will serve as a collaborative partner working with the Social Media and Digital Marketing, New Product Development teams, Digital account teams, Sales Teams, E-Commerce team as well as with external agencies and partners (Freelance Crafters/Makers, Photographers & Creative Influencers). Visual assets developed by, and with direction from, the Head of Marketing must educate the consumer, via ease of comprehension, as well as provide inspiration behind key supported initiatives (Program; Product).

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• You're creating video content for an awesome startup
• Production of all kinds of content: educational, inspiration, SoMe, creative, onboarding, and product demonstrations.
• Take pieces of seeming dry content in the form of blog posts and turn them into compelling short videos for youtube and vimeo
• Establish project timelines and select optimal format of visual asset/initiative and digital placement
• Lead the development of visual content against a visual content editorial calendar
• Work with Photographers to capture creative outputs for scale
• Collaborate closely with internal clients to help facilitate the creation of effective and engaging multimedia visual content
• Collaborate with the entire marketing team to ensure consistency of messaging, accurate visuals, optimized descriptions for SEO and Conversion trending
• Ensure all visual asset development can be easily adapted for global market scale
• Observe and integrate Content trends, partnering with influencers, identify emerging trends within the following spaces (HR, Internal Communication, Startups, Marketing, and more)

REQUIREMENTS / JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• Experience creating and editing visual media
• Experience in at least 2 of the following:
• Graphic design, Animation, Screen capturing , Video production, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Snagit, Camtasia, Photography Art Direction and Styling, Social Publishing platforms, Video Editing
• Experience in a post-production editorial environment with knowledge of industry standard workflows and project management best practices
• Readily available to learn and try new things, while still remaining humble that although you’ve got to school specifically to learn these things- you likely have FAR MORE to learn.
• Creative individual who has a passion for creating content
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and to solve problems creatively, with limited time and resources
