Salary Competitive

Hosting a concert in your home might sound like a bigger task than it actually is. Here is the most important:

  • You don't need prior experience with concert producing.
  • You need a space to host the concert, for example a living room, a garden, even a kitchen. It doesn't have to be too big either, you'd be surprised how many can fit in 20 sq.m. :)
  • All you really need to do is communicate with the the artist you have chosen to agree on practical details, such as dates, times, split of the ticket sales, etc.
  • Once that your event is up on the Low-Fi platform and you need to start sharing it with all your friends. Low-Fi is going to help you promote it too!

Voila you have just become an actual concert host and your coolness status hits new heights:) You can find all the info about becoming a host here https://beta.lowficoncerts.com/#!/guide-for-hosts

You can also check out some videos to get a better idea of what a house concert is: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCK97xJBlvW_506JdmWfklEg/videos

Important side note: Low-Fi’s philosophy and foundation is that artists should always be paid for their work. By joining us you prescribe to this. The rule is musicians are never paid less than 50% of the ticket sales.

Working at
Low-Fi Concerts

At Low-Fi we want people to experience live music in a meaningful way. To do so we have created an online platform for: musicians, hosts and concert goers. Here they can meet and co-create (very analogue) living room concerts in the cozy setting of private homes. In a changing music industry, where money is no longer made in the recording studio, but at live gigs, we are servicing a global community of musicians and music lovers, allowing them to connect and create live music experiences together.  We support a present music scene with a fair and transparent economy. Working at Low-Fi you will be a part of something bigger than yourself. You will become a full member of a global DIY live music scene, where the close proximity between musician and audience creates a special atmosphere that allows everyone to drop their guard and create meaningful connections with the music and each other. We call this amplified togetherness. Want to know more about living room concerts?
