The role

Airtame is seeking a talented Web Developer to join our Web Team. This team is primarily responsible for developing the main Airtame site, which is a cornerstone of our company’s growth and success. Our website serves over 150,000 unique visitors each month and drives significant revenue through our webshop. 

As a developer, you will work as a creative technologist, building a responsive website in WordPress in close collaboration with the Marketing team. You will find yourself a major player in project planning, laying out technical requirements, communicating roadblocks, and working on multiple initiatives. The site development involves close collaboration with designers, marketers and product managers, with rapid iterations and frequent A/B testing.

Requirements

• Experience with Wordpress, Wordpress plugin development, and the Wordpress API.
• Knowledge of PHP, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• You have a designer-like mindset and you reflect it through semantic HTML5 and CSS3.
• You are a "pixel-freak" and your attention to detail shoots lasers.
• You have a good understanding of visual and UX design principles or you are eager to learn them.
• Excellent English communication skills.
