Field Operations Associate

Aquabyte is hiring a Field Operations Associate to provide customer service and technical maintenance and implementation assistance for our early pilot partners and customers in the Bergen region. The Field Operations Associate will help to manage our relationship with early pilot customers, help in the onboarding and and implementation process, provide on-call assistance for technical matters, and otherwise serve as a point-contact for Aquabyte in the region.


Ideal candidates are passionate about aquaculture, technology and entrepreneurship. This job has the potential to develop into a full-time position.
 

How You'll Make an Impact

    • Help shape a company that aims to increase sustainability, efficiency and profitability of the fastest-growing sector of food production.
    • Ensure our customers and partners have an excellent experience with our products, building trust and rapport with our brand.

Job Responsibilities

    • Serve as the primary on-site customer service representative for fish farms
    • Help to install new equipment and service broken equipment
    • Respond to on-site service and maintenance requests
    • Report on customer feedback to help inform product development
    • Help with other company projects as needed

Job Requirements

    • Educated or experienced in aquaculture operations, or similar field
    • Have technical experience, ideally related to aquaculture
    • Have a desire to provide exceptional customer service
    • You are charismatic, with excellent people skills
    • Have a flexible schedule and can go to the farm within a few hours notice
    • Have a driver’s license valid in Norway
    • Professionally fluent in English and Norwegian
