By cutting out the middleman and selling directly to the consumer, we’re making it affordable and accessible on a global scale.


The position …

We are looking for an exceptional, structured and very disciplined developer who’s motivated by a steep-learning curve and a high degree of responsibility. The successful candidate will work 10-15 hours a week in close collaboration with the founding team, and be accountable for optimizing the front- and back end of the e-commerce site. You will help to build and improve the shopping experience, while defining new features and building new flows, paths, landing pages, navigation and overall e-commerce functionality. You will help to scale our architecture and improve our site performance and learn how to scale and build a new e-commerce platform. For the position it is a requirement that you are able to be at our Copenhagen office while working.

 

What you will do …

• Build and improve the shopping experience for a fast-growing, disruptive e-commerce company.

• Work closely with the founding partners (marketing and product development) to define new features and build new flows, paths, landing pages, navigation and overall e-commerce functionality.

• Execute a high-quality user experience and brand identity.

• Become a lead in how to scale and rebuild our new ecommerce platform.

• You will be working closely with our Digital Marketing team to enhance our online presence. Who you are …

• An ideal candidate will have previous experience working with WordPress / WooCommerce, and coding with: MySQL, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and several APIs.

• An admirer of beautiful code - you are extremely well structured.

• A quick learner with a passion for solving problems and proposing elegant solutions. • Have sustainable and organic values and care about the vision of Organic Basics.

• Willingness to learn through a steep learning curve.

• Strong work ethic and highly driven personality.

No fashion school - no experience - no dots were connected and nobody said “ah, that makes sense”. But Organic Basics was born anyway. Back then we didn’t exactly think that sustainability was going to be at the centre of the fashion conversation today either - but we knew something was wrong with the industry.
